🌤️ How To Build A 2 Meter Yagi Antenna
Each2 Meter FM Yagi driven element is fed with an efficient beta match. Each parasitic element is solid 3/16 in. aluminum rod mounted through the boom. Their boom clamp accepts up to a 2 inch OD mast. Specifications: VHF Beam Antenna Type: Yagi VHF Beam Antenna Elements: 3 Antenna Power Rating: 500 W PEP Beam Antenna Boom Length: 43.50 in
CheapYagis. By Jim Wilson. 27-August-2015. Antennas VHF-UHF. I learned about cheap yagis for the first time at the Central States VHF Society's 2014 Conference. I attended VHF 101 put on by Marshall Williams, K5QE, and Kent Britain, WA5VJB. During their session, they had several of the students put together 440 MHz yagis.
. #6. Rick I can see where keeping a 20 meter moxon symmetrical would be a PITA if in a windy QTH. The gain for the yagi would be more as spacing of the elements helps with the gain of the yagi. I like the relay idea, good stable mount, no expense for a rotor and two directions with gain and rejection.

747787 Mhz 4G LTE Yagi Antenna in 10 Steps for $10 by Damon Chandler 'dmc271' - A detailed step by step construction of a 747-787 Mhz, US 4G band, 14-element Yagi using a metal boom and a folded dipole for the driven element. Building Yagis - A Practical Approach - HW6PQL treats us to a detailed photo essay on how he builds his well
Withthe antenna completely assem-bled, begin reducing the lengths of the wire ends in short increments until the antenna resonates at the desired frequency. Cut off roughly an inch each time, and bend a new loop. My wires ended up roughly 2 inches long, but yours may vary. If you can't reach the 2-meter band, your hang-ers are not the right
Allbands are covered, including 30, 17, and 12. The G5RV has high SWR, by design, on most bands and a tuner is required. A multi-band super mini loop antenna. To build this antenna you need a lot that is at least 100 feet across. Antenna covers all bands 80-10 meters + 30, 17, 12 meter WARC Bands.
Beamwidth 54° Vertical, 27° Horizontal. SWR: <= 1.5:1 @ Band Edge. Material list for building a 5 Elements 2m VHF Yagi. 1. 1″ X 0.5″ Rectangular Aluminum tubing for the boom. 2. 3/8″ Aluminum tubing for antenna elements. 3. 1cm Outside diameter antenna tubing for elements holder. 4. 1pc SO239 connector.
1 Butterfly nut and 1 bolt 18mm length 3mm diameter. Aluminum plate 0.5mm thickness. Collapsible tube (shrinkable tubes) Download Yagi Dimensions Here. To build the 4 Elements Yagi you may follow the direction for building the 3 Elements Yagi except that you will add an additional parasitic element (director) which is about 5% shorter than the
